Photographing a proposal is so special for me. I am usually conspiring with the proposer for over a month to make sure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. From scouting the location suggested, to finding backup locations, it is so important to me to make sure the moment is everything it is supposed to be. This is all before I even take a photograph. That's when it gets really fun. These moments are so special and fleeting. It's a complete whirlwind and filled with such raw emotion. My favorite part is that usually my clients do not even remember what they said and I get to tell them after the fact. When Cole proposed to Piper in Chicago, there was no shortage of emotion and pure joy. I am so grateful that people trust me to capture these moments so they can relive them and share them with friends and family.
