Sometime in the late summer, Laurie Arons reached out to me about a very sweet couple who, because of the pandemic, were unable to fly to China for the traditional shoot the bride's family arranged. So about a month before I moved from California to Chicago, I had the pleasure of traveling to Lake. Tahoe to meet with and photograph Claire and Grant. We spent a few hours exploring the woods around Squaw Valley and finally headed down to a quiet little beach on the lake. I truly enjoyed my path crossing with this extremely kind and warm couple and loved having an excuse to travel to Lake Tahoe one more time as a Californian.
